At Woodland Mediation we believe in empowering others with knowledge and skills needed to overcome conflict and progress forward in life.

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a collaborative process between participants and a neutral third party who acts as a guide and advocate for collaborative and effective communication ultimately resulting in resolution. Mediation is a great alternative to litigation for matters such as divorce, family and business matters, work place conflicts, and civil disputes.

The process of mediation aims to increase understanding, improve communication, and encourage collaboration between the parties in reaching an agreement they can move forward with.

Mediation versus Litigation

  • Typically very financially consuming - $10,000+

  • Can be very stressful

  • Ridge orders given by court and not parties

  • Attorneys usually involved
